Privacy Policy

Effective 18 September 2026. This policy explains what DoIQualify collects, why, who handles it, and how to reach us about your data.

The short version

  • We collect the answers you give in the quiz and, if you choose to save your result, your email address.
  • We use them to show and email your result, to send the follow-up emails you agreed to, and to understand how the site is used.
  • We do not sell personal information. We do not send your quiz answers or your email address to advertisers or to the programs we list.
  • You can unsubscribe from any email, and you can ask us to show you or delete what we hold by emailing hello@doiqualify.co.

What we collect

InformationWhen
Quiz answers: US state, age range, height and weight (used to calculate BMI), weight-related conditions you select, whether you have used a GLP-1 medication before, clinical safety flags, your priority and how you prefer to pay. When you complete the quiz
Email address and your marketing choice, including which version of the consent wording you saw.Only if you choose to save your result
Your result: the route and programs shown to you, and a private link to your result page. When you save your result
How you arrived: campaign tags in the link you clicked (for example utm_source) and which page a program link was clicked from. When you arrive from an ad, email or partner link
Technical data: browser type, and a one-way scrambled (hashed and salted) version of your IP address that we use only to limit abuse. We do not store your raw IP address. When you submit the quiz
Anonymous usage statistics: pages viewed and events such as “quiz started” or “program link clicked”.As you browse

Some quiz answers relate to your health. We treat them as sensitive: we collect them only to produce your result, we do not use them for advertising, and we do not pass them to the programs we list. We do not ask for your name, date of birth, address, insurance details or payment details, and we never see your medical record.

Are quiz answers linked to you? If you leave before entering an email address, your answers are not stored on our servers. If you save your result, your answers are stored with your email address so that your result link and emails work.

How we use it

  • To give you your result: checking your answers against the common criteria programs publish, and showing programs that fit what you told us.
  • To email you: your result link, and, if you left the marketing box ticked, a short series of emails about the program you were matched with. Every email has an unsubscribe link. If you untick the box, we do not send marketing emails.
  • To run and improve the site: measuring which pages and steps are used, fixing problems, and preventing abuse.
  • To measure advertising: counting how many visits from an ad led to a completed quiz.
  • To meet legal obligations, such as honouring unsubscribe and deletion requests.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf, under their own terms and security measures:

ProviderWhat forWhat they receive
CloudflareWebsite hosting, security and our databaseAll site traffic; saved results
Kit (ConvertKit)Sending emailYour email address, your matched programs, your state, BMI and the preferences that personalise your emails
Plausible AnalyticsPrivacy-focused usage statisticsAnonymous page views and events. No cookies, no quiz answers, no email addresses
Google Ads and similar advertising measurement toolsMeasuring whether our ads lead to completed quizzesStandard browser and ad-click information. No quiz answers, no email addresses
Affiliate tracking network (Everflow) and the program you click through toRecording that a visit came from DoIQualifyA click record with the page type it came from and campaign tags. No quiz answers, no email address, no name

When you click through to a program, you leave DoIQualify. Anything you then give that program, including medical information, is covered by that program’s own privacy policy, not this one.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or as part of a sale or reorganisation of the business, in which case this policy would continue to apply to your information.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share your quiz answers or email address for advertising.

Cookies and similar technology

  • Our analytics (Plausible) does not use cookies and does not track you across sites.
  • Session storage. We keep the campaign tags you arrived with, and a marker that you clicked a program link, in your browser’s session storage. This is cleared when you close the tab.
  • Advertising measurement. The Google tag may set cookies so that Google can attribute a completed quiz to an ad click. You can control these through your browser settings or at adssettings.google.com.

How long we keep it

We keep your saved result and email record until you ask us to delete it, so that your private result link keeps working. We review stored records periodically and delete those we no longer need.

If you unsubscribe, our email provider keeps your address on a suppression list so that we do not email you again by mistake. Anonymous usage statistics are kept in aggregate and cannot be linked back to you.

Your choices and rights

  • Unsubscribe: use the link at the bottom of any email, or change your email preference on your result page.
  • Access, correction or deletion: email hello@doiqualify.co from the address you used in the quiz and tell us what you would like. We will confirm it is you, act within 30 days, and tell you when it is done. Deleting your record also disables your private result link.
  • No account needed: you can use the quiz, compare table, reviews and calculators without giving us an email address.

US state privacy rights

Depending on where you live, state law (for example in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas and Washington) may give you the right to know what personal information we hold, to get a copy, to correct or delete it, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising, to limit the use of sensitive information, and to appeal a decision we make about your request. We do not sell personal information, and we do not discriminate against anyone for using these rights. To use any of them, email hello@doiqualify.co. You may use an authorised agent; we may need to confirm their authority.

Consumer health data

Some state laws, including Washington’s My Health My Data Act, give extra protection to information that relates to your health. The health-related answers you give in the quiz are used only to produce your result and the emails you agreed to. We do not sell them and we do not use them for advertising. You can withdraw your consent and ask us to delete them at any time by emailing hello@doiqualify.co.

HIPAA

DoIQualify is not a healthcare provider, health plan or clearinghouse, so the information you give us is not “protected health information” under HIPAA. We protect it under this policy and applicable privacy law.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection. Saved results are reached through long, unguessable private links, so treat your result link like a password and do not post it publicly. We store a scrambled version of IP addresses, never the raw address, and we limit access to stored records. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach that affects you, we will tell you as the law requires.

Children and visitors outside the US

DoIQualify is for adults aged 18 and over who live in the United States. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. The programs we list serve US residents only. If you use the site from another country, your information is processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate.

Changes and contact

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we will tell people on our email list.
