What to Expect in Your Online GLP-1 Consultation
From the intake form to the first shipment, step by step.
1. The intake form (10–15 min)
Height, weight, medical history, current medications, allergies, and goals. Be accurate rather than optimistic; the clinician is checking for safety, not judging you. Most programs ask for a government ID and a photo for identity verification.
2. Clinician review (same day to 48 hours)
A licensed clinician in your state reviews your answers. Many programs do this asynchronously through secure messaging; some states require a live video visit for a first prescription. Expect follow-up questions about anything flagged in your history.
3. Labs, if required
Some programs want a recent metabolic panel and A1c before or shortly after starting. Others start without labs and order them later. Either approach is common.
4. Prescription and shipping
If approved, the prescription goes to the program's partner pharmacy. Injectables ship cold-packed and usually arrive within 3–7 days with dosing instructions and, for vials, syringes.
5. Ongoing care
Monthly check-ins are typical, with dose increases roughly every four weeks if tolerated. Cancellation terms vary; check them before you enrol.
